When you purchase our insurance, the first step is getting a quote. During this process you're asked about the value of your equipment and what extras you might want to add. One of these is for cover outside of the UK.
The image below shows exactly where you can specify this in your quote to make sure the price you see covers the geographical territories you want. If you don't choose one of these options, your cover will just extend to the UK.
We offer four different levels of multi-trip worldwide cover as seen above.
Choosing one of these will provide you cover for as many trips in a 12 month period as you like, as long as no one trip is longer than the number of days shown above.
If you don't add this at the time of purchase, we can add it on for you at any time during the year however this must be before you have left the UK. We cannot upgrade your policy once you have started your trip.
Once the Worldwide cover has been added to your policy, we can't remove it until your policy comes up for renewal.
In the event of a claim, you'll be required to provide proof of where the incident took place as well as the dates of your trip - i.e: plane/train or bus tickets).
