Public Liability Insurance is insurance that will cover the cost of legal action against you if you cause damage to either a person or property by using your equipment.
A really good example of this might be where someone trips over your tri-pod leg and is injured.
For obvious reasons, you might choose to take out this cover for peace of mind so that you know you won't be left at a financial loss for an innocent accident that takes place.
Sometimes you'll find that particular venues you might be photographing at insist on you having a certain level of cover. Good examples of this are wedding venues, National Trust properties and Motor-racing tracks.
We offer three levels of cover, £1m, £2m and £5m and all carry a set cost for the year regardless of the amount of equipment you have. Whilst the cover will extend to any employees you have working for you (provided you register your company name on the insurance policy), it won't cover for use of Drones.
If this is something you're interested in, but you'd like more information, it's worth checking the policy wording and then calling us with any further queries you might have.
